Reinhard Voigt

Reinhard Voigt is a well-known representative of techno culture, using multiple pseudonyms to represent the variety of his musical experiments. He creates hard rhythmic compositions under the names Pentax and Sweet Reinhard. Complex dark ambient under the name Sturm for the label Mille Plateaux. Using the name Kron Moniker for the label Harvest (a subsidiary of EMI, which releases Pink Floyd and Kevin Ayers), Reinhard writes more classic tracks. S.R.I. is another project associated with Reinhard Voigt's name. Since the early 90s, Reinhard has been collaborating with the German label Kompakt. Records released on this label are sold worldwide and are his most popular works. The latest album for Kompakt - Im Wandel Der Zeit - features techno from hard tracks to compositions with more delicate texture and rhythm. The record Premiere World on Profan (2000) is perhaps one of the bright ambient releases of the musician.
