Benjamin Brunn was born in Germany in 1977. As a child, he took 7 years of classical piano lessons until he found himself in the club VOXXX in Chemnitz in 1995 and heard electronic music there. The very next year, Benjamin wrote his first tracks. In 1998 and 1999, he produced two limited CD series called Fahrstuhlmusik ('music for elevators'). The series were sold in music stores in Chemnitz and Dresden. After that, Benjamin became acquainted with the labels R.A.N.D. – Muzik, as well as the Cologne-based Ware and the famous easy listening haven - Mole Listening Pearls. There, he released his first CDs and vinyl records in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, he recorded several tracks together with the Englishman Dave Wheels. These recordings were featured on the compilation Airbagcraftworks 2 II (Out to Lunch) and on the Moscow net-label Between Us. In 2003, he participated in the art project tape10, where music was combined with large photographs; exhibitions took place at the Museum of Applied Arts in Cologne and in Frankfurt. Since 2004, he has been releasing on the German label Binemusic, and since 2005, he has also been responsible for cover design there.
