The Sushi Club

Behind the eccentric pseudonym The Sushi Club hides 32-year-old Tomio Tremmel, a resident of Heidelberg, Germany. Finding information about The Sushi Club is extremely difficult. It is only known that Tomio is a German of Japanese descent and one of the leading artists of the cult label Elektrolux. On his website, Tomio claims that he was raised in a Zen monastery near Tokyo. His mission is to preach Japanese culture in Europe. Tomio is constantly surrounded by dozens of geishas (their boundless love is the main source of his inspiration) and possesses incredible high-end technologies brought directly from the Land of the Rising Sun. It is also rumored that after the monastery, Tomio played keyboards and was a percussionist in several fairly successful bands. Tomio Tremmel is a man of mystery. Intentionally misleading listeners, confusing them with a fake "biography" and silly track names (the entire Sushidelic album consists of Japanese dish names), he tries to explain—"discard the unnecessary. My music will tell you more."
