Touane

Touane is a young electronic musician Marco Tonni, an Italian from Rimini, now living in Germany. In his youth, Marco played in bands on guitar and bass guitar, and at 17 became interested in electronics and began creating music that, he hoped, would refresh the sound of his favorite songs. He spent his student years in Bologna, where he began collaborating with other musicians and even achieved some success in the city by organizing interesting events and parties. It was then that he met many representatives of the Northern European minimal-electronic scene and finally decided to move to Germany. Since May 2004, Touane has been living in Berlin. He collaborates with important techno producer Stewart Walker and records on his label Persona Records. Touane's music is minimalist yet melodic and emotional – reflecting his youthful passion for the guitar and, naturally, his Italian heritage. He still incorporates both guitar and bass guitar alongside synthesizers and vocal samples in his music, creating a lively, organic structure for each track.
