In his youth, Mitya played in various musical groups, experimenting with many styles: art-rock, jazz, ethnic music, noise experiments, and even industrial. In 1997, he began playing in the band Pork Roll and writing music for them. In 1998, the band won the "Golden Ptuch" award for best electronic project of the year. The intensive touring schedule that followed was too much for the still-young, sensitive musician, so Mitya decided to take a break from his public musical career. He didn't perform anywhere for six whole years. During that time, several of his original songs were released on renowned labels (Citaldel rec, Snegiri, Eastblok Music, 56 Stuff). The musician himself says that he doesn't want to categorize what he writes now into any particular style—it's simply electronics that express his perception of the world around him. Indifferent to conceptual frameworks, Mitya's material ends up stylistically diverse. It's very important to him that people listen to his music attentively. And he weaves musical jokes into practically all of his compositions—so that listeners get as much surprise as possible from his music.
